I like any poster that has been personalized by a theatre manager. I like it for the intrinsic value. The Easy Rider is a mega valuable poster if the manager had not wrote on it, however in my demented mind it is a one of a kind. Anyone can spend hundreds of dollars for a near mint one, or a few dollars for a reprint that looks better than the original, The manager ruined one has personality added. The manager wrote with a black marker on the backside to promote the "Raid on Rommel" movie, I assume he did not have a poster for it.

The linenbacker offered to touch it up from the front but I declined, it could still be done but I prefer unique items to stay unique. It had no pin holes so I do not know how it was displayed. 27" X 41" WITH APPROX 1/2 OF LINEN ON EACH SIDE, GREAT FOR FRAMING. COPY OF NEW ZEALAND PRESS SHEET, DISTRIBUTION MANAGERS WOULD MAKE SEVERAL COPIES OF PRESS ITEMS WHEN THERE WAS LIMITED QUANTITIES.

I MADE THESE COPIES TO PASS ALONG TO BUYERS. Theaters were given several items for display. 8x10 and 11x14 lobby cards, b/w photos, 14x36 "inserts", 22x28 "1/2 sheet", "1 sheet" posters originally 27x41 and currently 27x40, 30x40, 40x60, 41x81 etc.

Free items from the studio had no cut and dry rule either. THERE MAY BE A FLASH GLARE IN THE PICTURE. ANY FLAW THAT IS IN THE ITEM IS TINY. I HAVE BEEN CONSULTANT TO TELEVISION, RADIO AND MAGAZINE REGARDING MOVIE MEMORABILIA. IF THE PICTURE DOESNT SHOW!
